Two electrical outlets replaced in the living room.
I called early in the morning and, because of a job cancellation, the owner was able to come out that same day. I mentioned I wasn't sure what color my current outlet plates were - either beige or almond. He only had one of the colors but stopped at a home improvement on the way out and picked up the other color, just in case. It didn't take him long to do the work - less than an hour - and was on his way. Very personable.
Check some lights that seemed to be failing. Turns out the fixtures were bad and could be easily replaced by myself. They also replaced a dimmer switch with a standard switch because it was the wrong type for LED lights.
The technician was on time. Reviewed multiple things and was a clear communicator. It didn't make sense for them to do some of the work because I could easily do once the issue was diagnosed. It took the technician about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem and would not have charged for the diagnosis. So I had him swap out a bad dimmer switch for me so that the company would at least get some business from me.
Replacing 9 smoke detectors in our home
They were reasonable in their pricing (and we shopped around). They were easy to schedule, showed up when they said they would, and got the work done quickly. Would definitely use them again!
Electric Panel Updgrade
Ryan and team were very professional, courteous and arrived when they said they would. He kept me informed of everything that he was doing throughout the day as it takes nearly a full working day to remove the old panel & wiring then re-hook up the new panel (thus no power for that duration, too). Even after the installation, Ryan was very responsive in answering questions (via email and text message) that we had regarding how things were hooked up. I would highly recommend his services and will definitely use again for future electrical needs.
Repair of bathroom outlet, repair of outdoor outlet cover.
Ryan Stanley was very professional. While working on the outdoor outlet he noticed that it was connected to a garage outlet which provided power to our garage freezer. The power could have gone off without our knowledge which could have resulted in the loss of hundreds of dollars of food. Thank you, Ryan, for noticing and fixing that problem. I highly recommend Ryan / Light Up Your Life Electric, Inc. The repair of all 3 issues, bathroom outlet, outdoor outlet cover, and new plug in the garage took 1 hour total.
Ryan scheduled an appointment with me promptly. He arrived early and was able to repair my broken doorbell plus give me advice on other electrical questions I had. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was so happy with his work that I scheduled him for another appointment to reroute my television cable.
The first time we used them it was for odds and ends in our Westgate home, fixed 3 lights, ceiling fan, etc. We liked them so we hired them when we bought a new home. Upgrade from 100 amps to 200 with a new box, troubleshoot non working outlets, put up ceiling fans, put 2 dedicated outlets in garage, install GFCI outlets in kitchen and bathrooms.
He was very good and worked for 3 days straight to accomplish all the work before we moved in.
We had multiple circuits, baseboard heaters, new thermostats, & light fixtures that needed updated, added and replaced.
